Classes
Meisner Level 1 and Meisner Level 2 Classes last for four weeks, with one three-hour class per week, for a total of 12 classroom hours per session. Acting for Camera is a two day back-to-back intensive, with three-hour classes each day, for a total of 6 classroom hours per intensive.
ACTING FOR CAMERA: TWO DAY INTENSIVE
In Acting for Camera, actors will get experience working film and TV audition sides on camera. Both new and experienced actors are welcome to take this intensive. Two days before the first class, actors will be sent sides for both days to prepare as they would for an audition. In class, everyone gets approximately thirty minutes in front of the camera to work their sides, with a fellow classmate acting as their reader. I will coach you through different approaches and make any technical adjustments necessary. After the intensive, actors will be sent all of their takes to observe how their in-class work translates to camera. Cost per session is $150 all-in.
MEISNER LEVEL 1: FOUR WEEK CLASS
Meisner Level 1 introduces actors to the Meisner Technique. Through the repetition exercise, actors will learn how to work moment to moment and follow impulses over logic. This foundational class is great for those who are brand new to Meisner or those who wish to brush up on their Meisner work. Cost per session is $275 all-in.
MEISNER LEVEL 2 & SCENE STUDY: FOUR WEEK CLASS
Meisner Level 2 is a continuation of work from Meisner Level 1. This class delves deeper into the technique and starts implementing scene work; bringing Meisner from exercises to practical application. Only those who have completed Meisner Level 1, or who have previous extensive Meisner training, are able to register for Level 2. Cost per session is $275 all-in.
